Those Lazy Hazy Crazy Days

Last Saturday was probably my best day ever.

I quickly finished the super long LS LT and went to rehearsals. After a quick run, we packed our stuff and headed on to Intramuros. Inner Manila is just so captivating. I love the Manila Cathedral! It's just so majestic! After a quick turn, there it was. Clamshell II. Tarpaulins spread outside the venue; crews, bboys, people wearing jerseys, scarves and cool shoes gathered inside. I was wearing a minidress. Oh yeah. So hiphop.

We waited for our turn to block like our normal celebrity selves. We hogged the Groove photograher and made chikka with him. Haha. We blocked and saw the Canadian guy impressed with our mark-run. That gave us a bit of confidence.

Oh yeah. Groove Manila's this national leg of the Battlegrounds competition in Australia. There's gonna be a Visayas and a Mindanao leg and we'll be battling it out in a National competition.

So there. I can't quite describe the feeling, pero when we went outside to warm-up and pray, I already felt His presence. We prayed like crazy, sang our hearts out, all with a LOT of people in the streets staring at us. Pero we didn't care. It was all for Him. I knew that. We went inside for a quick freestyle session and I know that God was already inside of us. Para talaga kaming nasasapian. Funny, but that's what it looked like. Hindi kami nagpapakitang-gilas. Pinapakita namin kung ano yung kayang gawin ni Lord sa amin.

By then, a lot of supporters came. Since I required everyone to buy a tikcet (MWAHAHAHAHA), many cadsters came! aluvet. Bihira to mangyari chong.

So there. We danced our hearts out. Ang galing. Nakita ng audience that we were dancing for the Lord. Glory to God for giving us something BUCC! Shocks. He's just amazing.

They announced the Top 10 and we weren't even scared, nor anxious. We know God will place us wherever He wants us to be, may it be 10th or 1st. At. Nakipagpicture ako with Prince. Cutie! So there. Natawag na yung 3rd place, tas hindi pa kami natatawag. People were pointing toward our crowd, shouting 1st, 1st! It was just an amazing sight. But the announcer, amazed by our fear of God called us on stage and said we were second. An amazing feat. Second out of 24 teams is something to be proud of. And God placed us there. He wanted us to be humble despite the feat we've done.

Kudos to Xtatic. Reppin Cagayan de Oro! Flew all the way from the South and conquered Manila! Clap clap for them :D

But isn't it amazing? I mean. All these professional crews competing, and we emerged second? First of all the Manila teams? How else can you explain it but through God?

In our hearts we won it. The battle is not ours but His. We placed our hearts in Him, and we won this thing through Him. Hee. He's the reason why I dance. God is the dancer, I am merely the body.

Go CADs! Let's win the Nationals! I WANNA GO TO AUSTRALIAAAA!

I didn't know how God did it. He's just amazing.

Krumping's becoming more known in the country. It's basically letting go of your whole body. Kung baga, nagwawala. I hated that style because 1) i'm a girl and i cant just move like the ones i see in youtube and 2) I just didn't like it. I was hesitant when they said they wanted to have a krump freestyle. I didn't want to look silly coz I haven't mastered it yet. Well, I just didn't want to do it.

Phil headed the session. He started with a pep talk, saying that we just had to let go of everything. I tried to do that, but i couldn't. A lot of things were running through my mind. What about my polsci readings? And my finance research? Where's my sundo? Haha. Weird, but true. I was krumping because they told me to. That's it. After a song, Krista commented certain people. She saw daw the intensity, the passion of really wanting something. Nagselos ako. Haha oo. Ang insecure ko siguro kaya gusto ko parati ng self-gratification.

Ewan ko kung ano ng nangyari pagkatapos. But eventually, we prayed. We prayed not for ourselves, but for the group. We prayed for God to be with us. We prayed for Him to reveal Himself to us through krump.

And so He did. Ang galing niya. Nakita ko si God sa bawat tao. Dun ko lang narealize yung quote na, "I am the body, God is the dancer." Ewan ko. There's a first in everything diba? I didn't expect this to happen, lalo na in a krump session. But I saw God, I felt Him. I can finally say that He's connected to me. Goodness, it's been too long. I'd be lying if I didn't want Him back in my life.

Uh. Haha oo naluluha ako. It's just one of those great days. Hindi pwedeng hindi ko isulat to. Sorry, alam kong cheesy, pero grabe. INTENSE TALAGA. Galing ni Lord, sobra. He never ceases to amaze me.

Like ngayon. Freecut kami sa Fin. Gusto niya talaga ako patulugin ng maaga! Yehey.

Other than that, I feel like I have the Senior's Syndrome. Parang all of a sudden, I want to do all of these things! Watch a BlueRep play, head all of these projects like the RiB competition and Blue Roast, join the Sanggu, and just STUDY STUDY STUDY (DL? Haha kung kaya ng finance!)

Last Orsem.  Hay. I'm too lazy to put it into detail, but this has got to be one of CADs' best performances to date. I love my lurlaz. :D Wala lang si Gio at Jesse sa picture. :D

Can you not torment me for at least a day? Sakal na sakal na ako. Goodness.

Good thing I have steph's pictures with me to cheer me up. Haha.

Ayun. Orsem na next week. Lagot. I'm also going to the south on Saturday. First time I'll actually tour around the area. Maybe shop at Ruins or eat at SEX? Haha. Excited na ako.

Last Friday was the end of our summer training. Three weeks weren't enough to do what Alden had planned, but i'm glad everyone enjoyed it. Jogging around Ateneo, killer one minute handstands, gymnastics with prince, pop-lock sessions with CRUSHIE PRINCE, and me and gio attempting to teach jazz workshops to the not-so-flexible guys in street. I miss the guests! Xavier boys, Ac girls, bet, pat, cooks, the guy in the fedora hat, kambal breakers, niko joyce! :D

So, it was capped off with the oh-so-dreaded diagnostic test. Ro, Steff and me! Woohoo goojab ladies!



Saburdee, plansem with the most nakakaloka people I've ever met! PAC people are the best! :D Never a dull moment! We stayed at Holiday Inn near Galle. O dibuzz, mayaman ang PAC, pa hotel hotel na lang ngayon. Grabe ang kababuyan! Our rooms look like they've been run over by tornados. Pa-swimming swimming rin lang! Nalaman namin na dolphin pala si Dan Chua. At, ang masayang part pa jan.. dahil katabi lang niya ang Galle, at sale sa Galle, nakapagshopping kami, haha. hello naman sa mga nakapambahay na nagiikot ikot sa Galle. We also shot the Recweek video, bleh. Mukhang kelangan naman naming magtago sa mga freshies! Haha! Pero, PAC, forever walang hiya. :D

Overall, it was okay. Stayed as Station 2, coz friend ng tita ko may-ari. Ayos naman yung place, tas wi-fi pa. Hehe watched takeshi's castle bloopers over and over courtesy of my tito's laptop. It was near Regency where my bestfriend stayed, lucky.

Company's great. I love this side of my family cause everyone's really bonded cause everyone lives so close to each other. And I loved that even my two titas from the States went home. Haha imagine that. 18 kami kumakain sabay sabay, lumalabas sabay sabay. Haha kakatuwa.

We're lucky that Yen and I got to go to Boracay together. We missed Tin; she's got work. Oh well. There, the Bacardi series kicked off in Juice so we went there, and I got to see the All Stars. Haha I'm really super star struck when I see them cause they're all so HOT. Grabe, super idol talaga.

And yes, tumataba na ako. Can't really say Bora food's great. Siguro the really pricey ones are yummy, but we didn't exactly eat out sa mahal parati. When we ate out in mura stores we'd splurge on dessert, like the FIC store where we ate twice! My tita loves her ube ice cream, cause in the States it tastes so artificial daw. We walked all the way to Station 1 after dinner to just taste what Earl has been recommending me. And yes, masarap nga and Jonahs milkshake. Kahit na inirapan ako nung girl, masarap parin siya.

Ano pa ba. I bumped into a few people. I saw Karel with her boys ( NA SUPER SUPER HOT). I saw Liana and Mia too. They invited me to drink pero patay na talaga ako ng mga midnight kagabi. Issa too, kasabay ko ng flight.

I guess the best part of the trip was getting a massage by the beach, overlooking the sunset. The sunset was really pretty! Super sarap lang! Nakalatay ka lang dun tas super sakit pa ng feet mo kasi lakad galore lang kayo tas mmassage ka lang. Saraaaaaaaaap.

Ayun, one of the perks with going with your family is you dont have to worry about the budget. And everyone's super game! If banana boat gusto ng cousins ko, edi banana boat. Haha, yun! But Bettina and I spent the last night without our parents so we really shopped for accessories haha. 10 peso earrings are a steeeaaaaaaaaal.

Sorry mahaba na pala to. Hehe di na ako bora virgin wuhoo!

Guess who set the curve in finance? Haha sorry paminsan minsan lang ako makakapagyabang tungkol sa mga ganyan. Pero ngayon. Sabaw. Finance lang laman ng utak ko haha

Marketing was okay. Yeah we were grilled, but everyone else was grilled naman. So I guess haha bahala na si Lord. We were too lazy the whole week so we crammed last night hehe. But I don't think it showed Hopefully the panelists were nice in giving the grades.

There. I think I need to shop to calm me down. My sister already went yesterday and today. She got me shorts! Hehe bait niya. Pero mas interesado ako sa pumps na binili niya. Haha. I want to buy tomorrow too! Gusto ko din ng bagong bikini pang bora. Speaking of bora, pupunta nga ko pero kasama family. HELLO what am i gonna do there. I'm gonna drag bet and go shopping na lang. SAVE ME! who's gonna be there on april 9-12?

Chino's in Emba and I'm stuck here studying. Ang loser ko.
